Abstract:
National parks, which prioritize the protection of natural ecosystems, serve as venues for scientific research, education and recreational experiences for society. Recently, increasing numbers of visitors have participated in recreational activities in national parks. Ecotourism is a vital way to demonstrate the public welfare of national parks. Its high-quality development is one of the crucial ways for promoting harmonious coexistence between humans and nature. In this paper, the methods of literature measurement and comparative study are used to explore the current situation and research history of ecotourism in national parks based on the Web of Science and the China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI). Citespace and Vosviewer are used for data visualization. Furthermore, the current situation and research history of ecotourism in national parks are clarified, with a focus on the concepts of ecotourism monitoring, the construction of ecotourism monitoring indicators, the evolution of monitoring methods, the current management situation and differences. The key points of ecotourism monitoring and management methods are summarized. On this basis, this study proposes prospects for the monitoring and management of ecotourism in national parks in China, aiming to provide scientific evidence for the construction of national parks in China.
